Product function
HY-Zn serve the two purpose of protecting and cleaning the melts.
How to use
HY-Zn is added during the early stage of melting to form a cover, quantity is 0.25-0.50% by the weight of metal. when the charge is completely molten ,a further more 0.25-0.50% of HY-Zn is plunged and rabbled well into the melt ,preferably with a perforated plunger. After all reaction has ceased, the melt is allowed to settle for a few minutes before skimming cleaning and pouring.
